About Lillian
My background is in product management and cybersecurity, with extensive experience leading projects from inception to completion. I currently work for Starseer.ai — Our product provides AIDR (Artificial Intelligence Detection and Response). It looks at how a model reasons, decides, and acts — at inference time, in production. Additionally, Starseer uses mechanistic interpretability (activation analysis, circuit tracing, and behavioral probing) to reveal what AI models truly learn and do at inference, detecting hidden threats like backdoors and covert capabilities invisible to traditional signals.
At Kessel Run, I served as a Product Manager, where I directed the full project lifecycle for application deployment teams, setting objectives, prioritizing efforts, and managing stakeholder expectations. I've guided the development and deployment of critical software for DoD enterprises.
As a Red Team Lead, I conducted offensive security assessments, developed incident response plans, and trained partner-units on cyber security best practices. Earlier in my career, I was a Penetration Tester and Threat Emulation Team Lead, researching emerging threats and developing defensive strategies to mitigate those threats.
My leadership experience extends to managing a 35-member Communications directorate as an Officer-in-Charge on deployment. Separately, I also led a 12-member team of intelligence analysts, applying analytical understanding of attacker methodologies to develop and disseminate threat intelligence reports.
I hold a Master's of Liberal Arts in International Relations with a certificate in International Security from Harvard Extension School and a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science from the United States Air Force Academy. I hold certifications in GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) and GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN).
